Miiverse Hitting the 3DS By the End of 2013
Info comes straight from Nintendo’s Investor Meeting:
- available later this year through a system update
- Users will be allowed to view and post content to Miiverse on their 3DS
And that’s really all they said about Miiverse on the 3DS.
Also I’m guessing this means they’ll get rid of Friend Codes with this update and allow for NiN IDs on the 3DS.
Went to Sea World this past weekend. Not much going on StreetPass wise…I guess most folks don’t bring their 3DS for fear of Shamu wanting to spray you with his tank water. Did happen upon 3 folks though and one was a StreetPass SD member! Hi Jaime! If your in the SD area be sure to hit up spsd3ds.com to see where some StreetPass events in the region are occurring!
Got a BlackBerry Z10 this past week and started populating it with some apps. Looks like another Pokemon Tower Defense game made it into the app store. Time waster yes, but I wonder how long it will be available.
Fun Fact of the Day:
Did you know that one Halloween year, Disney World had employees dress as official Kingdom Hearts characters? Back in 2004, Disney actually had three official Kingdom Hearts costumes in the Magic Kingdom park—Donald and Goofy dressed in Kingdom Hearts garb, as well as a Sora. These were present during the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween event in October that year. Most believe that these special costumes were meant to advertise the up-coming Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories GBA game released at the end of the year.
While the unflinching grin on Sora’s face may be enough to give you nightmares, you have to give Disney props for at least recognizing the series on such a large scale. Since 2004, however, nothing has been seen of these Kingdom Hearts costumes. Perhaps they are away in storage somewhere.
If nothing else, this is proof that Disney has the right to allow Kingdom Hearts into the theme parks. For awhile, rumors circulated that Kingdom Hearts could not be allowed into the parks because it was shared property with Square Enix. Apparently, this isn’t a problem.
